Dianne Horton, waking up

Alan Steinfeld talking to Dianne about how she broke through the veils of the personality and awoke to her true self. A remarkable and ordinary example of what is possible.

To me, although she did not know it, Dianne, in her interview with Alan, blew away all the nonsense of enlightenment and religious and spiritual rituals. And with it, all the stupidity of the funny hats, robes, malas, mantras, idols, statues, gongs, bells, horns, incense, chanting, offerings, bowing, gurus, and touching feet. All, utter nonsense.  Read more »

What is a Satori?

An interview with Clare Soloway.

You will soon be doing a Satori process in England – Can you explain what a Satori is?

Clare: It is a direct experience of truth, in a moment. It is recognition of everything being absolutely as it is – as perfect in itself. It is felt and perceived and you are inseparably at one with it in that moment. You experience the truth fully, completely. And the Satori experience comes with an absolute certainty of “Yes, that is”. You know. All the resistance, all the stuff we put up to shield and protect us – all fall away. And then suddenly the realization sets in: “It is as it is as it is.”

In the moment you experience a Satori there is no fight, no resistance, just a sense of being. When a Satori happens to you there is no doubt, but a certainty from deep within, a “yes, that’s it!” It is one of these true ‘aha’ experiences. It is a moment of profound understanding. Usually when it begins there is some door in you that starts to open. And suddenly the realization of the truth just pops in out of nowhere. And it catches you quite by surprise. It is because you keep communicating during the Satori process that the truth drops in, becomes deep and literally fills you.  Read more »

Bruce Lipton: Science & Spirituality

In this interview Bruce Lipton speaks on being a cell of humanity and letting go of the illusion of separation. He gives a comprehensive description of how we create our own reality and offers insight as to how we can start to really live differently. He also describes in great detail the disintegration of the honeymoon stage in a relationship.

“The cell is programmable, and it is programmed by our beliefs. This means you can change your program.[...] We don’t have to wait a thousand years for evolution, evolution can happen this afternoon. [...] We are not victims of anything more than our beliefs.”

The Gentle Buzz…

Here on the property are two big streams. They join and flow into each other. When it rains they transform into small rivers. Overhung by the semi-tropical foliage, the sparkling water tumbles down through the big rocks emitting several and ever varying delightful gurgling sounds. And in the trees and shrubs all around is the constant zizz of the Cicadas insects.

Being with the sounds, a melting/dissolving happens. Off in what seems a great distance, the mind enquires: are the sounds outside, or inside? Read more »

Not work on it, not understand it, not agree with it or disagree with it.
Just have the experience you are having now. Now. Now.
That’s all.

Choosing a Teacher

Kabir: “When the mind decides to let go of the mind, it always holds on to one thing.”

When a person thinks, strongly enough, that they want to change/be enlightened, the neurosis cooperates – but in a way that will not threaten its existence too much. We don’t like being uncomfortable. So when a teacher is chosen, it is usually the neurosis that does the choosing.

Example: If the person is not comfortable with sex, they will almost certainly choose a teacher who does not support Read more »

Interview with Paul Lowe

In one way it is does not matter who Paul is — or what he says.
The only thing that has significance to you and your life is what you feel while receiving information. Not thinking, not agreeing or disagreeing, but feeling deep within. You know already. It’s just a reminder.

And, as we are a curious species, here are a few snippets about Paul Lowe: Paul’s view of the world and its future encourages us beyond what we normally think of as possible or impossible. From his own comprehensive world-wide experiences, he shares about every possible subject. In addition to more abstract subject matters, he addresses everyday issues: sexuality, relationships, parenting, health, finance, career, and communication.

In his view nothing is more, or less important than anything else. He shares his insights with caring, and perhaps most importantly, humor.

No choice to be yourself

If you look deeply into your experience you may find that you have no choice… and that you are absolutely responsible for every thought, feeling and action in your life.

You have no choice in the matter. Your thoughts and feelings arise according to your conditioning. You are programmed. You, the people around you and all of life is acting according to patterns that govern its behaviour. Governed by cosmic laws such as gravity, biological impulses like the sexual urge to reproduce and evolutionary traits like the need to fit into a social group. These forces determine the kind of thoughts that pop in to your mind, the kind of feelings that arise interacting with others and how you are predisposed to relate to them. Read more »

The news

by Clare Finlator

News programmes start with dramatic music and an air of seriousness. The message is that the world is a bad, dangerous place, so you need a government, a big army, and strong-armed police force to stop the terrorists, rapists, child molesters, murderers etc away from your door. The nature of reality is struggle, pain, war, fighting, drama. This is interspersed with gossip and opinion to keep people diverted from thinking too deeply, or feeling too much. We seem to be addicted to drama and suffering, that’s what sells the newspapers and keeps people glued to TV screens. It is accepted as normal.
